Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using TokenPet ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.

2. License

TokenPet is open-source software. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to download and use the App for personal and professional purposes. The source code is available under the MIT License on GitHub.

You may not: rebrand the App and present it as your own product, sell the App or charge others for access to it, or use the App's name, brand, or character designs without written permission.

3. The App is Free

TokenPet is and will remain free to download and use. We reserve the right to introduce optional features in future versions, but the core experience will always be available at no cost.

4. Intellectual Property

The TokenPet name, logo, and the character designs for Foxfire, Nimbus, and Glimmer are the intellectual property of the TokenPet project. The application source code is licensed under the MIT License. Character artwork and animation assets are All Rights Reserved.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected. Use of the App is at your sole risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the App, which is zero.

7. Third-Party AI Tools

TokenPet reads usage logs produced by third-party AI tools (Claude Code, Codex). We are not affiliated with Anthropic or OpenAI. Use of those tools is governed by their respective terms of service. TokenPet does not interact with those services directly.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and releasing a new version of the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
